I got a notification this morning about high internet usage so I did some digging around and found the highest client was Home Assistant and specifically traffic to and from speedtest. In the last month it has sent and received 233GB. The integration was added a long time ago and I am pretty certain I did not change anything from default. Might be worth checking other installs to see if something is wrong.

It looks like the default is one hour, I expected the note to really only apply IF you increased the polling rate. Here is the note which I think needs more clarification OR the default polling rate needs to be reduced.
- If run frequently, this integration has the ability to use a considerable amount of data. Frequent updates should be avoided on bandwidth-capped connections.
