Hello,
Not sure if this is possible, I tried to search but couldn’t find anything on it. Our household uses OVPN to connect to our home network (using an ios app that auto-connects when it detects that it is no longer connected to our home wifi). Sometimes we disable VPN or it fails to connect and if it loses connection at or near our house then the HA app marks us as ‘home’. Since I am using our app location to arm our home security there are some times where it does not arm because HA is stuck seeing us as ‘Home’ despite our last seen / connection time being hours ago.
For the tracker device (device_tracker.) I get the output:
source_type: gps
battery_level: 80
latitude: XXX
longitude: YYY
gps_accuracy: 35
altitude: ZZ
vertical_accuracy: Y
friendly_name: <Devicename> App
I don’t see any way to get a last contacted time out of this. Is anybody aware of any way to get a last contacted time from a device (home assitstant app) so that if it has not been seen in over an hour I can ignore it saying that it is Home?
