Does anyone have a suggestion purchasing KWH monitor systems for my entire household? Currently, I’m, looking at TOMZN 3 phase tuya which is available on AliExpress, or Maybe 3EM by Shelly. TIA
IoTaWatt is popular.
the most expensive though hahahahahah. BTW did you used this? Just wondering
I user an SMA Inverter and energy meter. I also have a Shelly EM and PM1 monitoring some individual load circuits.
is it better to monitor each phase manually or better to used 3 phase monitor device. Thanks Tom for the inputs.
I only have a single phase supply. So don’t have any direct experience but from what I’ve read there’s not much difference. You have to make a total power template sensor with both methods.
Just finish reading the changes on 2021.8 guess I can have a cheap version created using ESP32 ahahahahahaha… try to look that end.
I just purchased one of these. As soon as we come out of lock down & i can get an electrician in to install it - happy days.
Does the Shelly integration connect to the Shell EM through the cloud, or is it a local connection? What data points does the Shelly integration support in the EM meter?
