Power not showing the correct values

Hi ( hope this is the correct category)

I’m trying to get the energy panel showing me the current power usage / generation.

Using Solar Assistant and followed their mqtt configuration.

I am getting the values passed through so that seems to be working but strangely in HA it is not showing me the current use but rather the total use for all time. I did go into Statistics and cleared the values, makes no difference, still not the live values

Example in the pic, the Grid. Currently using 0 but showing 5.6kW

I’ve been tinkering but am just not getting anywhere and being new to HA is no great help either.
The correct values are named:

sensor.deye_sunsynk_sol_ark_pv_power
sensor.deye_sunsynk_sol_ark_load_power_essential
sensor.deye_sunsynk_sol_ark_battery_power

but are not selectable in the power configuration.

Any suggestions or pointers?

The key to understanding is in the name of the dashboard. It is the Energy dashboard. Not a Power dashboard. Hence it shows historical energy consumption, not instantaneous power draw. And hence why you can only select energy sensors, not power sensors when configuring it.

It is showing the Energy used today, not all time (this can be changed using the date & time selectors at the top of the dashboard).
