Predbat buying low and selling high

My predbat plan seems to be selling charge in the early morning then buying it back at a higher rate later in the morning. Is this a miscalculation or have I misunderstood the logic?
Predbat exported the battery between 06:30 and 10:00 at 11.8–14.7p/kWh, reducing SoC to about 13%, then almost immediately imported at 16–17p/kWh to recharge. I disabled Predbat at 11:10, after which the battery reached 100% by 13:00 using solar alone. Therefore the imported energy was unnecessary and merely displaced excess PV. The optimiser had a PV forecast of 70.3 kWh, yet still selected both the export and import windows.
I am using predbat v8.46.1.
I ran this past ChatGPT and it recommended that I report it to the developer, which I have done (on Github).
Any idea why this is happening?

I’ve just noticed that input_number.predbat_best_soc_min was set to 10.0, and the unit_of_measurement is kWh. My battery capacity is 11.52kWh. Could this explain this behaviour?
