Presence & Multi Sensor (Shelly Blu Motion)

Hiya! I’m having trouble finding a good not so expensive presence/lux/humidity/temperature/co2 sensor for the company offices - we’d have around 15-18 sensors so we’re looking to be as cost effective as we can be.

I noticed the shelly Blu Motion fairly cheap around 20EUR & i’m wondering can the Shelly Blu Motion connect to the Wi-Fi thru a dimmer switch from Shelly as this would save us a lot of money than the Aqara and other options.

Sadly the MSR2 is inacessible for EUROPE or overpriced (85EUR/sensor) so the cost would be around 1,300EUR+

If anyone has any tips - ideas. Every office would be equipped with a sensor & dimmer switches for the lights (dimmable ones)

Depends on your dimmer. If it’s 1st gen dimmer, no, otherwise yes.

If i were to get a “SHELLY 2PM GEN3” or “SHELLY DIMMER 2” - i’d love to be able to read data from the door/window sensors & Blue Motion.

Is it also possible for the Blu motion sensor to be directly connected without a battery?

With this yes, you can use it as gateway.

You can substitute the battery with 3V power supply.

Thank you very much for the help - since i’m planning to do a large project for the company offices we will have a lot of elements which wouldn’t be viable to do via batteries. Gonna pull a straight 5V/3V line next to radiators & connect the smart TRV’s & blue motion sensor if possible to the same line. The door sensors etc. would stay battery powered.

If i understood it all correctly this would be possible right?
Senzor Vrat = Door Sensors
Senzor Oken = Window Sensors

Of course. What battery TRVs have?
Be aware that if wiring is long and wires tiny, there’s some voltage drop. 3.3V power source might be better for Shelly blu.

2x 1.5V Batteries for Shelly TRV’s

Might be the best choice to do it in every room with a possibly small 220v/3.3V converter inside each TRV or for the small line it takes to connect each one

No need to be so complicated, just use decent wire for TRVs.

If all goes well hopefully won’t burn down the building :joy:

With 3V2A power supply would be quite difficult. Batteries are more dangerous.
