I had an app (formerly add-on) installed called TeraAssistant installed using a custom repository.
I had to uninstall to install a newer version, since I’m working with the developer in its development.
What bugged me was: I removed the app without marking to delete the data.
After that I removed the custom URL from the screen where we add custom repositories (not HACS since it’s an add-on), but I couldn’t add the URL again. The button didn’t work.
What I did to fix that was restore the add-on from my backup and then delete again, this time removing the data.
Do you know if there is some kind of lock related to the URL if we keep the data for an add-on? A note about this add-on is I checked the data under /addons_config, and it was just an empty folder, so I’m wondering if it’s an edge case.
EDIT: the problem happens when I remove it, close the screen, open again, and try to add again.
EDIT: it wasn’t related to saving or not the data. I just remove the custom URL, click close, open again and try to add and it doesn’t work.
I’m using the HAOS with Core version 2026.3.0b1
I downgraded to version 2026.2.3 and it works. I can remove the custom URL, close the screen and open and add it again.
