I have a problem with the refresh token for the Eneco toon thermostat.
After a couple hours is doesn’t sync anymore.
When i open the Eneco toon app, home assistant starts syncing all the states of the thermostat.
Does anyone else have these problems and does anyone nows how to fix this?

Nope didn’t find a solution just a workaround.
i’ve created a workaround within a automation, to boot my pi every 4 hours.
when you open the Toon app, the problem also disappears for a few hours.
but the workaround works for me!
Yes same issue here, it won’t update after a couple of hours until I open the Toon app and it will synchronize again.
Investigating this issue at the moment, do you guys perhaps have the Ziggo Mediabox connected in your Home Assistant? 
Nope haven’t connected the ziggo box to home assistant.
I get a different ip from ziggo for my media box, if i change this the box is not working properly.
The issue is that the current component in Home Assistant is using the “old” method.
There is a newer version of the component on the internet (not yet in Home Assistant), which uses the actual Toon API. That solves the issue instantly.
Ah ok! That makes sense! Do you perhaps know if or when it will be implemented?
I’m running a little python script now on my pi that’s polling the temperature every minute from Toon, so now it keeps working in HA.
