I have been trying to set up an automation that uses voice to ask a question. I am having a problem with the sidebar, where you configure the answers. Under Perform action 'Ask question on satellite' When you try to type in sentences for the answers the edits lose focus after every character and you have to click back into it to type another character.
Hi, try to refresh your browser / clearing the cache.
Sometimes the front-end can behave strange and it's solved by refreshing the browser. (or try another one)
I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge and I get the same thing with all 3. Have you tried doing this and if so do you the same thing or does it work correctly for you?
Currently it's OK but I did experience similar things in the past.
Is your HA fully up-to-date or what version are you running?
Version 2026.5.0. I just saw 2026.5.1 just came out, I was going to upgrade to that and see if it fixes the problem.
I don't see any fixes for the frontend but it wont hurt to install it.
Okay, I am now really convinced it is a bug in HA. I tried it on a different computer and I even tried it on the mobile app and i get the same thing everyplace I try it.
