There is an issue with not having a second line show up in some cards that recently developed. If you adding a new card or edit it, secondary info nows adds a choice, if you choose none it puts none when it should be a blank.
So the behavior has change. There is no way to remove it either, once there it is there.

Do you have frontend extensions/resources installed? I’m wondering if this is a conflict with one of mine, but I’ve tried removing all the “big” ones, and that doesn’t seem to fix the problem.

Not sure by that statement. I do have card-mod installed which changes as the developer works on it. Never saw this till the last core updates in the last two months
Please try safe mode. If it shows up still in safe mode, open a frontend issue.

In that case it’s coming from a custom component, and you’ll need to figure out which one it’s from (try trial and elimination), and report it to the repo for that component.
