Hey guys,
Been trying to get spotify integration to work properly so I can stream to different speakers but so far it’s been a rather frustrating experience .
I have setup my different speakers / sources with input select but I am only able to see these for a few seconds in HA when I am starting spotify from my mobile phone.
If I start spotify from my Desktop (on the same LAN as the rest of the speakers) it only detects my Desktop and my android tv box (xiaomi mi box) and none of the others even appears in the source list .
Furthermore, none of the sources ever gets saved in HA and they only show up for a few seconds . Forcing spotify to play to the specific source / speaker name also does not work, even though they are setup in my input select sources they are not recognized as valid (I can see that in one of my spotify components where the available sources are displayed without any previous setup).
Nothing seems to work … about to give up on spotify integration as it seems pretty much useless as it is !
Anyone else experiencing similar issues and is there any workaround ? Read a few complains about this but couldn’t come up with a solution …
