I added my ZWA-2 to my Yellow (using Z-wave JS UI) and re-paired my Z-wave devices. After seeing some issues, I did a rebuild routes. This took a long time and left several of my z-wave devices showing as dead. I then rebooted the Yellow, but now I see the following red banner across the top of the Z-Wave JS UI control panel: “Controller is unable to transmit”.
I tried rebooting a second time, but this message continues to appear. Before I go crazy, is there anything I should be looking at to try to troubleshoot?
A quick update… my Z-wave devices do respond, though very slowly. There seems to be a delay of at least 5s from sending a command to the device responding.
Update2: Doing a little further digging, I found the following in the Z-Wave JS UI logs: 2025-09-06 15:14:55.513 CNTRLR The controller is jammed
Thanks for this. The thread seems to indicate there is an issue with Z-Wave SDK 7.19. I cannot find where to get this info on the ZWA-2, but I would assume Nabu Casa would be verifying this.
