I’ve been building a task management platform for the last several months due to not finding the features I was looking for, and it now has a proper Home Assistant integration. This thread is its home for discussion, support, and release notes. Feedback on the apps or website is welcome here too.

What it does:

  • Any list in the app becomes a todo entity. You pick which ones in the config flow. By default nothing is added.
  • Individual tasks can be added as buttons or switches.
  • Progress sensors per project (percent complete), for graphs or conditions.

Three cards ship with the integration (they register themselves, nothing to add by hand):

  • My Day: what’s actually due today, split into due / ongoing / today’s reminders. Built for glance distance on a wall tablet.
  • Icon card: for tasks on a repeat schedule. When due, the task is lit; click it and it rolls to the next occurrence and dims until due again. Completions are held for 10 seconds so a mistap can be cancelled, and tasks that aren’t due yet refuse completion, with the due date shown below.
  • Project card: renders a task tree of your choosing. Direct children and children of children (2 levels).

About the app: it’s mine, and it’s paid. iOS, Android and web. The integration itself is MIT on GitHub. The integration only talks to the ProgressCove API, your tasks sync, nothing else is collected, no tracking or ads.

Status (September 2026): the integration is in beta, and HACS submission is pending. Install via HACS custom repository for now. Until the end of October, new accounts can claim 30 days free on top of the 2-week trial, no payment method required: ProgressCove

Some rough edges will exist, but knowing everything about the app, it may be hard for me to notice it all. User experience feedback is as welcome as bug reports.
