PT100 temperature to heat pump, split the output

My heat pump has a PT100 temperature sensor which I would like to split to have the temperature fed into a home assistant sensor and then continue to be fed into my heat pump. Anyway to split the signal or what do you suggest?

Pretty simple to add another sensor instead.
Messing with the furnace’s main sensor is asking for trouble.

Not sure on that suggestion. There seems to be only room for one probe to enter from outside to the inside of the tank.

I have taped / epoxied one wire sensors to the outside of a metal tank and pipe, under the insulation, and get really good results.

If the temperature is out of range of that, a thermocouple can be used.

EspHome and an esp32 would do well to bring the data back to HA. I tend to use raspi and MQTT, but to each their own.
