Does anyone know of a smart push button light switch module compatible with the nexus range of switches? I am looking for something where i can turn a routine on/off at the wall and via app / automation
Which devices are you talking about? I couldn’t find anything useful on google.
Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry, I don’t understand your question. Are you looking for something like this here?
Thanks @VolkerKa - this is would work. I have cheap zigbee module currently but if you turn the switch off at the wall then you cannot control the switch via the app.
I am also keen to find a module that I can connect to switch that can just trigger a routine, for example turn on/off 2 standing lights in different parts of the room which have smart plugs. I can do this via an app or Alexa but it is often clunky and it would be a lot better if it could be done at the switch as well as by app. Any ideas?
Hello, if you have a Zigbee module, then I assume that you have a bridge that receives the signal from your module, right? There are also buttons for this (Philips Hue, IKEA Tradfri, Xiaomi Aqara / Mija) or, as an alternative, the buttons from “Tuya” the spark over the WiFi and are also compatible with the smartphone, and I think they can also be used directly in Home Assistant.
Which ZigBee module are you using?
I use some Hue Dimmer Switches as a replacement for the standard light switches. I then assigned the different buttons to different actions. For example, short press on button -> turn light on at 50%, long press on button -> turn on light at 100%, short press off button -> turn light off, long press off button -> turn all devices in the room off.
