Question about partial restoration and apps

Dear all,
I think my system needs to restore an old backup.
So I navigated into my saves, chose one, and I can select different parts for Home Assistant, Ok I get that.

My question is more about the “app” restoration.
What does that mean to select or not?

To be specific, I kept on HA Vaultwarden, to store passwords and share them between the different members of my family.

  • If I restore it one week ago, does that mean the passwords stored since then will be lost? I know, I can (and will) export my passwords.
  • If I do not restore it (or any other apps), would they be deleted, or simply kept to their current version?

No A backup is not an actual backup if you have never tested it…

Just to be clear, I do not want to loose my Vaultwarden, which would mean I would loose my passwords AND those of my family, reason why I do not want to test and see what will happen.
This is why I posted the question.
