Question relating visible cover state in HA - to have this on dashboard?

Hello all,

I’m a beginner in HA and so I still learning.

I have two awning(Markisen).
As you see in the screenshot one of them.

And if I hit in the dashboard here (see 2nd part of the screenshot)

  1. => then 2. opens.

Is there a possibility to have this as card visible on my dashboard ?
With this I can see and set the cover.
And looks good.

I hope someone can help me, please keep in mind I’m a beginner :slight_smile:

Try the tile card with a cover to see if it is more to your liking. It is a new card offering support for all kinds of entities. Add functions to the card for the sliders using the settings of the card. For best results, use the sections dashboards instead of the older variants. It offers more control over positioning and card sizes.

Is this a given card or an repository ?

I found in HACS the “compact-cover-control-card” which is small.

I have to check it next day.

The tile card is a core card. No need to install anything.

but I didn’t found the one as it looks in Edwin’s screenshot.

Also, alternatively you may try a custom more-info card to get a same look like in a more info popup. But the proposed Tile card could be preferable as it is stock and compact.
