When editing an automation that uses a Script action, there is no quick way to view or edit the script directly from the automation editor.
To edit the script, I currently need to:
1. Exit the automation editor
2. Go to Settings → Automations & Scenes → Scripts
3. Find and open the script
4. Edit it
5. Go back and re-open the automation
This breaks the workflow and makes editing more cumbersome, especially when iterating.
Proposed solution
Add a quick way to open the script directly from the automation editor.
Possible options:
• Add an “Edit Script” option in the 3-dot menu of the Script action
• Add an open icon button
• Preferably open it as a popup dialog, so the automation editor stays open
This would make it much easier to work with scripts while editing automations.
