Hi - I am trying to set up a quick tile to toggle a smart plug. It seems straightforward enough BUT… there is a field called “select server (required)” with a drop down arrow. There is no list (I only have one server anyway -as most people I suspect) but the list of available entities is displayed and I can select the smart plug. But I can not save the tile because (presumably) the “server (required)” can not be populated. I am not familiar with the data modelling behind Home Assistant so it may be I am missing something obvious. I have tried deleting my server and starting agan but not joy. (Although it should not matter, background info is I started with the companion app from f-droid, but decided to add my google calendar so needed the play store companion app. And much later I flashed my phone from OxygenOS12 to LineageOS and reinstalled the app)
I’ve the same issue. I just bought a new phone, and i was recreating my Tiles, but no way to create them. The server field is required, and i can’t create them with a blank field.
I’ve checked on my previous phone, the tiles are working, but i can’t edit them for the same reason.
My previous phone is a Oneplus 8 and the new one is a Oneplus 15.
Hey guys, I just got to this post because I was searching for the same issue, but I managed to sort it out (at least for myself).
It first popped up because I tried to set up the tile starting from the quick menu, however I cancelled out of that and went direct into the home assistant app > Settings > Companion app > Manage tiles
When I go in via this path, there is no longer an option for select server.
Same problem here, on to different phones (one branded Android, one GrapheneOS) and both from the phone quick menu as from the home assistant app.
Feels like a bug to me.
