Radar with multi target tracking, why?

I am trying to find a use case for the multi-target tracking feature of a few mmWare radars I own.

I keep thinking I only need to know if the room is occupied or not. That kind of automation can benefit from counting people, especially if they can only count to three.

I think I might be missing something useful.

In larger open concept layouts you can trigger based on zones..

I don’t do this but my Kitchen, Living room and Dining area are all one large room with lights in each of those zones.. You could do things like trigger lights on and off based on if a specific zone had a person in it.
