I’ve been reading posts going back several years and this seems to be something that crops up.

I’ve been listening to various radio stations and I’ve found one I want to put on a button to play it. However, I can’t get the media ID/URL.

Trying to copy the link from the launch button within radio browser is no good, I just get the catagory i’m looking at. Same with wherever I’m clicking to get a URL. I’ve also tried an old post of create an automation and a list of the available stations should come up… well, it would be a heck of a list anyway!!!

I’ve tried looking for the station on the internet and the name is just too generic.

Grateful for advice on this.

By going in to Developer Tools → Streams then I could work my way through to the media player and see what URL it was playing. I could then copy that and use it in a button/action.
