Rain Bird not connecting

I am stumped.

I enter my IP address for host (read straight of my UniFi controller, so it is known to be correct), then enter admin RB password.

Instantly get:

“Failed to Connect”

When I use the RB app, it takes a while just to connect. So I am wondering why my failed connection is so fast.

Both HA green and RB controller are on the same vlan. I even swapped from an LNK to an LNK2 hoping that made a difference.

Any ideas?

Hi, are you sure about the IP address & are the credentials needed?

It asks for host IP and admin password.

What I meant:

  • is the IP address the right one?
  • is the admin password correct/or even necessary?

The integration asks for host id and password. Those are the items I created when setting up the RB system.

I am not sure why it fails. Host idea I am getting off of my router. Is there a port number I need? The password is the password I used when setting up the LNK.
