Hi,
since March I’ve been experiencing intermittent issues with my main energy meter in Home Assistant.
The setup had been running stable for about a year without any problems. However, recently I’ve noticed that the sensor occasionally reports a value of 0, which results in unrealistic daily energy spikes (e.g. >10,000 kWh).
This behavior seems to occur randomly. I haven’t changed anything in the configuration or on the physical device.
What I’ve checked so far:
- No configuration changes
- No hardware modifications
- Issue started around March (possibly after an update?)
Questions:
- Could this be related to a recent Home Assistant update?
- Has anyone experienced similar behavior with energy sensors?
- Where would you start debugging this (logs, statistics, sensor state handling, etc.)?
Any pointers would be appreciated.
