I doubt it - it will almost definitely be slower than synology. Also - how much ram has that Pi? It really must have at least 2GB.
But try and see - all you can loose is some of your (spare?) time…
Fine for small to medium size installations with a few add-ons. ESPHome compiles will kill it, you also really need a decent SSD rather than SD card.
I’m using a Raspberry Pi CM4 with 8GB RAM, 32GB eMMC and a 1TB SSD. I have also running on that system esphome, nextcloud, paperless-ngx, nginx-proxy-manager, all in docker containers. The docker files are moved to the SSD. So it depends on the hardware of your Raspberry Pi and your workload.
