Ratgdo32 not working in Home assistant

New here. I have two Ratgdo32 devices successfully flashed for ESPHome and Home Assistant. I have Chamberlin C3000 openers which use Security+3.0, but I only see Ratgdo firmware for +1.0 and +2.0. I installed +2.0 version and Home Assistant recognizes the devices and appears to be correctly communicating to them. However, nothing responds to HA commands. The openers operate correctly with remotes, wall switch, door blockage safety beams, etc. However they do not respond to any HA command. I should also mention that HA information is not correct for status of door open/closed or light on/off.

Running HA: 2026.4.4
Downloaded firmware from Ratcloud.llc today (4/29/2026)
firmware: 2026.4.2 (config hash 0xffbaebbb, built 2026-04-25 11:32:28 +0000)

I have tried restarting HA.
I have tried removing devices and reinstalling them.
I have tried rebooting the devices.
So far nothing has helped. If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I don’t believe 3.0 is supported yet

Thanks for finding this. I was afraid of that. Hopefully there might be a solution for the new door openers on the market with +3.0.

You could go retro and get this device. You stick one of your remotes in it and it pushes the button. It comes with a tilt sensor to determine door status. There’s no way Chamberlin can stop something from pushing a button on the remote.

Hmmm, interesting way to do it! I also found where some folks are using a switchbot or modifying the remote with a Zigbee relay board. I guess I’ll start looking at options. Thanks for all the help!
