RB-SRAIN01 Illuminance Sensor Fails After Zigbee2MQTT 2.1.0-1 Update

Hi everyone,

I’m having issues with my RB-SRAIN01 outdoor illuminance/rain sensor after updating to Zigbee2MQTT 2.1.0-1. Here’s the timeline:

  • Before the update: The sensor worked perfectly, reporting illuminance values between 0–6000 lux (e.g., ~5800 lux in daylight).
  • After the update: Values dropped to ~217 lux in the same conditions (severely incorrect).
  • After resetting the device: It stopped reporting illuminance entirely (no data in HA).

Details:

  • Device: RB-SRAIN01 (Tuya-based).
  • Zigbee2MQTT: 2.1.0-1 (updated last week).
  • Tried:
    • Calibration (illuminance_multiplier = 26.7).
    • Re-pairing (no success).
    • Checking for firmware updates (none available).

Is this a known bug in Zigbee2MQTT 2.1.0-1?
