I have Shelly EM power sensors and would like to view daily power used. I have tried to get the utility meter helper running but have not been very successful in getting the data I am looking for. I have the total power displayed using the power sensor dashboard but can’t get it to reset at midnight each day.
I am sure someone else is doing the same thing, I just need a bit of steering in the right direction.

To begin with you need to know there is a difference between energy and power. The two are different things and their sensors are not interchangeable.
There is no “daily power”.
Power is what your loads are consuming right now, this instant, measured in Watts.
Energy is the the total consumption of your devices over a period of time, measured in Watt-hours.
You need to use a total energy sensor, not power, in a utility meter with a daily cycle.
Interesting! All my utility sensors (haven’t had time tocheck further, but at least those based on entities from shelly plugs) stopped to reset a few days ago. Looks like last reset was midnight to 29 Oct. They have been working for years.
I was beginning to go nuts, and started to alter settings yesterday to see if anything helped, bu no luck so far.
I don’t remember if there was an update to something that day …
