Recommend Ethernet relays?

I am in need of an ethernet (LAN, not WLAN) relay with 1-32 channels (probably 8 would be best) that can be installed onto a DIN rail. I am not familiar with DIN rails, so if there are standard ways to mount PCBs to DIN rails advice in that area is also welcome.

Additionally, it having an actual manual is a big plus and I’d like to see that someone has actually been able to control it using Home Assistant, or alternative the command line in Linux.

Do I have to know whether the input signal for the relay is 10V, 12V, or 24V or will anything above 1V register as “on” or “off” with these types of devices?

Are there any relays which report the real-time voltage applied in order to collect graphs of that too?

There are a lot of Chinese products, but preferably it would also be a certified product, although it seems that almost every offering is Chinese :frowning: (with typically no certification).

Have a look at smartDEN IP 16 Relay Web enabled Module with DIN Rail BOX

Thanks, I also found ETH008-B - 8 x 16A ethernet relay myself. I have not decided yet what I will buy, because I first need an answer to the below question:

Do I understand correctly that while many of these types of relays have multiple terminals (Common, NO, NC) per channel that one only needs to wire the Common terminal, because the actual switching would be controlled via TCP/IP?

I suppose there is a way to also use the inputs, but in a situation where you just want to control on/off you don’t actually need those extra terminals.

Edit: I think 16 Channel Ethernet Relay Module | Numato Lab Help Center already answers my question.

There are a heap of boards with ESPhome code available here (eg: this one). I haven’t yet used any but they look pretty good.

Bumping this.

Did anyone end up with any ETL or UL certified relay?
