Recommendation for a HA-compatible electric water heater (DE/Europe)

Hey all. I’m at the point of an apartment renovation where I have to choose a tankless water heater to install. I’d of course like to get something that is compatible with HA! Does anyone have a recommendation for a tankless electric water heater that can be monitored and have things like temperature controlled via either a direct HA integration, or a diagnostic port via ESPhome? Local-first preferred over cloud.

An hour of searching later and my top hit are the products from Clage.

They provide a local REST API and modbus interface for their devices. Seems like someone has even written a HACS integration that allow them to be controlled via Home Assistant.
