It’s now 2026 and I would like to get a smart lock for my front door that has a Kwikset dead bolt. I have zwave and a dongle for zigbee that can be converted to thread (not currently being used). I want to be able to remotely open and close, give cleaning people a code that can only be used on a certain day and time range. Keep track of who opened the door. Other things like fingerprint readers, facial recognition, opening with iphone are nice but not essential. Battery life and easy changing of the battery is important. Would love to hear recommendations and why you like the lock you have. Thanks.
