I have an outdoor louvre with an LED system on an existing Teleco tvstrd916nt24 controller that has died from moisture ingress. Am thinking of changing to home assistant at the same time as fixing this.
Am looking at recommendations for an ip rated controller. If necessary can rewire it to a separate control box that can be made water tight, but that will be a pain.
The current controller connects to 3 separate lighting strips but am unsure how they are wired. The controllers description is just “3 channel common anode LED controller” so I will have to look closer. Wiring is a bit of a b%^&tch to get to and everything is wired inside the aluminium channel.
As an aside I may as well replace the dual louvre motor controller as well.
Nema (water tight) box is best option

I’m imagining you can cut some wires add power supply and controls but maybe this is wrong
Depending on location I would use ESPHome device. If in WiFi range or WiFi convenient
