I have some Tapo P110Ms and I am looking for a power strip alternative so I can control more devices.
Aware of the Tapo P300, looking for something that has 5 plugs or more.
Additionally, would like the strip to have individual control over the plugs and power monitoring.
Appreciate any suggestions as I haven’t been able to find anything with more than 3 AU plugs.
Could you get away with buying the 3-socket Aussie unit and then going to Bunnings to get a common 2-socket from one-plug extension lead out of your P110M ? That is Only suitable if two of your devices can share one smart plug to be on together and only together, and inside the power limits for one aussie socket.
An Aussie friend once grumbled that British mains plugs are the most over-engineered objects he’d ever seen. I replied “perhaps that’s why they don’t fall out of the wall when I push the vacuum cleaner”.
I hadn’t considered this, I may be able to get away with that in one location, not the other.
I’m trying to smart up power strips with 8 and 6 outlets haha
I do very much like that British outlets block live terminals when there is not a ground pin inserted, something everyone should adopt.
