I’m trying to get some kind of dashboard running on an Old Kindle that I have lying around. Right now the worst part of this is the login screen, the animation bogs the whole device right down. Perhaps it could be good to add a small device check and only load the fancy animation in relatively modern / performant browsers?
I should mention, this will probably also help people in the developing world adopt Home Assistant as well where their personal devices wouldn’t be as powerful.

I do not want the animation screen on more modern devices either.
It is just fluffand a time sink.
