We have the embed prepped to be in the blog post, I think I am just waiting for someone to merge the update. However, for now, here are⦠@mwjones71 - The blog post has been updated with the embed of the Luma calendar.
By the way, Espoo is not in Switzerland but in Finland!
fml Thank you, lol. Yet another silly American mistake. (Edited to add: lol, I put Finland for everywhere else except here! Womp. At least I didnāt make this mistake across all the platforms. )
I will have the latest list of events here shortly! Going through and catching up on socials right now, but we had 7 new events added over the weekend!
Apologies for this late update - I took PTO yesterday to chaperone my sonās class field trip and decided to round the week off with the rest of the meetups.
Thats nice list So approximately 70 towns and 3000 people all around the World. That looks awesome. What about photos, video, live coverage? Where we may share all of this together?
It is also a day to remember Sir Terry Pratchett, and The Peopleās Revolution of Treaclemine Road.
Depicted in the 29th Discworld book, Night Watch, the revolution saw a peopleās uprising that ended the reign of Lord Winder. On every May 25th thence, a group of the uprisingās survivors gather together to honor the casualties with lilacs and one hard-boiled egg.
In real life though, May 25 was also adopted by Pratchettās fans to honor Pratchettās struggles with Alzheimerās Disease, and to also raise awareness of the disease. Fans do so by wearing lilacs on the day, just like in the books.
So keep your eyes open for a hoopy frood with a lilac towelā¦
Luma does NOT credit OpenStreetMap as REQUIRED by license
I have been contributing to OSM for decades now, so it is very fustrating to see HA using a service which does not respect the OSM copyright and licence.
Their map does not show the REQUIRED attribution notice, nor does it show the ODbL:
Youāre right, thatās not cool at all. Apologies for this oversight - while I did check into how they handled your data when signing up, this wasnāt something on my radar to catch.
Iāve sent their support an email to see if they can have this corrected, Iām hoping this is the fastest way to address this. They also have a GitHub org, but Iām not entirely sure what repo to open an issue on for this. To not clog up the thread, Iāll follow up with you privately to let you know how this goes, and edit this post so others know the status.
