Remote device in HA

Hi!

I’m thinking about integrating a device to HA that is located in my office while my HA installation runs at home.

Is it possible to connect a remote device (in this case a sonoff, so connected via Wifi) to HA?
I’d have full access to any port settings and so on.

yes, it’s possible. The easiest way is to configure your remote sonoff to use your home MQTT. If you run mqtt at the office you can also bridge the two MQTTs (this is what i do). If you also run a HA at the office, there’s a custom component to connect them. If you open your home MQTT take care to have user/passwd/ssl and/or open it to just your office IP (if the office has a fixed ip).
