Got “woox r7054” remote control and was wondering is it possible to change what each button do? like right now in home assistant it only allows (shows) 4options, (Home; Away; Night; Disarmed). Was thinking about running custom automations/scenes based on which button I press, Like “Arm away”, “Arm home”, “Disarm” and one different one. Problem is that pressing only works for 3buttons out of 4.
- SOS button doesn’t work (would want to change it)
- Lock button Arms away (would keep this)
- Home button Arms Home (would keep this)
- Unlock button doesnt work, if I hold it, it triggers alarm. (would want to change it so it would actually disarm)
To disarm whole system I have to input pin code into Home Assistant but I would like to remove pin and replace it with this remote single button for easier and faster arming and disarming when leaving/coming back home without having to launch app, find correct field and e.t.c.
Anyone got similar device and got any tips or should I just abandon this and instead start and create costum scenes/automations with NFC tags instead (I’m not currently considering NFC as main action since sometimes when come back home phone is dead and would have to plug it in and wait till it launches and that would deny my other idea of making alarm siren going off if not disarmed within half minute or so after entering)
