Remote Technologies RTI XP3 with several PCM-4

dskudrin Thanks so much for the drivers - there’s a few there I’ll need. I’m trying out the RTI to HA communication too, but the info here should get me started. One ask - do you happen to have a firmware file for a XP6 that works with Integration Designer 9? The Sonos driver only works with newer firmware, but I can’t tell what version it actually requires. Or I could find an older Sonos Driver, which I had but it didn’t seem to work any more.

Hi. I haven’t worked with ID9 — I started directly with ID11. Honestly, I would move the project to ID11, since it’s easier and more convenient to work with. A few video tutorials were enough for me to write my own project in it.

As for the XP-6 firmware, I only had this processor for testing once, and I downloaded firmware version 24.3.29 from mid-2024. Unfortunately, the RTI website doesn’t provide access to the firmware archive, but if you decide on the required version, it can be found. I’m attaching a description of the firmware version changes.

And btw, XP-6 firmware version 2.0.7 can be downloaded from RTI website (mid-2019)

RTI XP6 Firmware Version 24.3.29

Summary

VERIFYING THAT YOU NEED THE UPGRADE
If you already have version 24.3.29 or newer you should not upgrade your
firmware to this version. Use the “Get Firmware Version” command from
the Communications menu in TheaterTouch Designer or Integration Designer
to determine the current firmware version. The reported version number
will consist of a number followed by a bootloader version number
[for example: 24.3.29 (Bootloader: 1.5)]. If the first part of the reported
version number is 24.3.29 or higher, you do not need this update.

PREREQUISITES FOR USING THIS UPGRADE PROCEDURE
TheaterTouch Designer 3.0 or higher, or Integration Designer 6.0 or
higher must already be installed on the PC that you wish to use to
upgrade the XP6 firmware. If your PC runs a 64-bit version of Windows,
Integration Designer 7.0 must be installed to perform the upgrade.
Upgrading to the latest version of Integration Designer is strongly
recommended. You should verify that you can communicate with the XP6
using Integration Designer before attempting to upgrade the firmware.

FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE

  1. Connect power to the XP6 and make sure it operates normally.
  2. Make sure Integration Designer 6.0 or higher is installed on the
PC that you are using to update the XP6 firmware, and that Integration
Designer can communicate successfully with the XP6. You can use the
“Get Firmware Version” command on the Communications menu in Integration
Designer to verify that the USB communications are working properly.
  3. Run the .exe program contained in this ZIP file and follow
    the on-screen instructions carefully.
