My reloink elite floodlight will shut off after 3 minutes. Does anyone know a way to keep the light on until I call to shut it off? even in their own app there seems no way to keep the light on longer than 3 minutes.
Turn it back on every 2.9 minutes?
I am having the same problem. I have an automation that when I turn on the porch lights, the Reolink Floodlight comes on too to light up the yard. When I turn the porch lights off, the Reolink Floodlight turns off. However after 3 minutes the floodlight turns off whether I have turn the Porch lights off or not. How do I go about keeping the Reolink Floodlight on until I turn off the Porch light? I know @Sir_Goodenough mentioned to turn the Floodlight on every 2.9 minutes. How do I go about doing that?
I found a workaround on redit. You have to first go into the app and set a schedule from 12 am to 11:59 pm (all day) then use set mode schedule in home assistant to turn off and set mode off (or auto) to turn off. I made automations for this in ha and call the automations in my dashboards and switches.
