Reolink Doorbell -> Cast on Google Nest Hub without Delay

Hello,

I have a new Reolink doorbell camera. I’ve been trying to display them on my Nest Hub for days now without delay.

I managed to add my camera on the dashboard with no lag using the HACS WebRTC.

I got a new service

service:webrtc.dash_cast

Now I tried this:

service: webrtc.dash_cast
data:
  url: rtsp://localhost:8554/reolink
  entity_id: media_player.wohnzimmer

But I only got a black Scrren and no camera image.
Same with the original URL

rtsp://USER:[email protected]:554/h264Preview_01_main

Hey, I’m having the same issue right now. I can display other cameras just fine, but the Reolink won’t work. Just a black screen.

Same issue and also looking for the same answers. Can’t it be that google just blocks this? As it is a big concurrent for there doorbell?

Don’t use main stream. Use the Sub Stream.

By following these instructions, you will install “Google Assistant SDK” which will allow you to create Scripts to execute commands on Google Home e.g. "show me Doorbell in living room"
