Here is a solution/workaround for you. When you are in that link scroll upwards and read the whole thread, you will hear from the developer for the integration that for the battery based doorbells without the hub these notifications do not work yet, but will work in an upcoming firmware release for the doorbell. (If you have the hub it will work but in a little while that won’t be required.) But as mentioned, my link shows how to make it work in the meantime.
