Reolink solar battery camera wake up from standby mode

I recently added two more Reolink cameras to my NVR which show up in Home Assistant. The problem I have is that they only wake up from standby when their PIR detects motion.

One camera is on a shed looking down my driveway and I want to wake it up earlier. I have a sensor by my mailbox which notifies HA of driveway motion, which I would love to wake up the camera.

I have tried triggering the camera by creating a helper button and have an automation send trigger snapshot or turn floodlights on, and many other toggles, but alas nothing wakes the camera up.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Can standby mode be turned on and off, either by manual reconfiguration, or (preferably) by automation? You may have to forgo standby, or add sensors to detect when you want it turned off and go from there.

Did you find a solution to walking up a camera from standby? I have exactly (well almost) the same problem.

I have a Reolink mains powered camera looking down the driveway, and on motion being detected I want to wake up the Reolink battery doorbell. The battery doorbell seems very slow to wake up, and I only get video once the person has made it to the front door, rather than the walk up to the front door.
