Reorganizing Nest thermostats in Google Home not noticed in Home Assistant

I had 9 Nest thermostats. All were working.
In Google Home I Removed/Added 2 of the them and add 2 new thermostats.
In home assistant the two I added/removed are not responding (expected) but no new thermostats were added.
In the google cloud project I am getting 100% errorts for:

Do I have to udate my project or credentials ?

Did you ‘sync devices’?

That was probably the problem … but instead I paired them as Matter devices.
Was not available when I started installing the Nest thermostats many years ago.
