Ok thanks, I’m reassured and will stick with 1.0/6.0.0.
The v3 enterprise does not have this limit, and is free for home use.
Anything noteworthy for the ones not having an account there, but would like to know, what is going on?
An influxDB rep says vague things to Frenck. Frenck asks for more info and suggests there be an open source path for the community. More than that you need to read it.
(Accounts are free if your government allows you to read it.)
Somebody should update the first post in this topic with that info.
despite that, pulling influxDB without a good warning is crazy especially for Grafana users. I use Grafana for several things, but also to transform data into measurements charts. So i am happy with InfluxDB staying in HA. ![]()
He ended support. It was only pulled from your system if you told HA to remove it.
Yes that process was unclear, and I think that was addressed, not certain, but going to the website and installing it if that happened was always an option.

In October 2025, Discord issued a press release announcing a “Security Incident Involving Third-Party Customer Service [5CA]”, in which “the unauthorized party […] gained access to a small number of government‑ID images (e.g., driver’s license, passport) from users who had appealed an age determination,” as well as other personal data provided to support.[24] The number of ID images accessed was approximately 70,000,

Well, what do you know - the app is back in the repository with a new app version 6.0.0 and works like a charm. Lucky those, who like me, did not choose the “repair” option and kept the v1 app.
For me the system reboot also removed the repair message. Thanks!
Using hass on x86…
Of course, Murphy’s law since I’ve already gone through the pain of moving over to InfluxDB3. Now that I am here though, I’d rather be on a newer DB flavor instead of one at EOL.
Hi everyone,
I’m quite new to Home Assistant, so sorry if I’m missing something obvious. As you may know, InfluxDB was removed from Home Assistant. I had been using it to store electricity and temperature data for months.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a backup, and I really need your help because this data is very important to me. Is there any way to recover it?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Thank you for your reply. I’ve installed InfluxDB V1, but I still can’t access or find my old database file ![]()
You’re going to need to restore a backup to get any data back. Are you running HAOS? Or some other configuration? HAOS Automatically creates backups that are kept on the local drive.
According to the developers it is not EOL.
