Repeating message: Can't set forward_for header, missing peername

I’m seeing following message in my log:

Logger: homeassistant.components.hassio.ingress
Source: components/hassio/ingress.py:189
Integration: Home Assistant Supervisor ([documentation](https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/hassio), [issues](https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3A%22integration%3A+hassio%22))
First occurred: 13:40:44 (132 occurrences)
Last logged: 13:42:10

Can't set forward_for header, missing peername

It repeats I guess every second. Everything seems to be working fine, but still would like to get rid of it.
I’m running the latest version of HA in a VM (HassOS) on Proxmox.

In case you still have that issue, try clearing your browser cookies for HA (and maybe also local storage), it fixed it for me.

I have the same error message on the same setup, except VirtualBox rather than Proxmox. Tried clearing cookies, No help. Not sure which local storage you are referring to.

Today I had another look at the logs. I’m not getting the error anymore. I’m running running HA core 2021.12.7, HA OS 7.0, Supervisor 2021.12.2 and latest version of all add-ons.

Unfortunately I don’t know when the message stopped appearing, but let’s hope it stays away.

Hi @CWagner, how to do that?

It depends on your browser, just check clearing cookies for specific site or something like that on your search engine of choice.
