What would be a good alternative to History Explorer Card to show non-numerical (e.g., binary data)?

What do you need from this card which is not covered by a stock history-graph & the history-explorer-card itself?
I thought the History Explorer Card was archived (i.e., not supported or recommended to be used any longer). Is this the not the situaiton?
