I’m planning on replacing my bathroom switches with smart switches. Except for the left most switch which is the ceiling fan. The furthest right switch are the main lights. The middle switch is the shower light. I’m thinking of replacing the two dumb light switches with the Zooz double switch below. Then get a different plate which omits the middle switch.
Does this sound like a reasonable plan? Maybe there are better options?

Why not replace all three? You will likely want to automate the fan at some point based on humidity.
I have same setup and used two dimmers for lights and a zen71 for the fan.
That’s not a bad idea, to automate the fan too. I just installed an Aqara FP300 in the bathroom which does measure humidity.
You said you use a Zen71 for the fan, what do you use for the other two switches?
I have to say I am thrilled with the FP3000 in the bathroom. Right now for testing I have it turning on the bedroom lamp. As soon as I appear in the bathroom doorway, the light turns on. It has a PIR sensor as well is presence sensor. It also detects me in the shower behind the glass doors, and in the toilet room through a wall. I have it mounted about 8’, and about a 35 degree angle pointing down. I thought I would have to use 3 sensors at one point!
Zen72. I use those all over the house.
My fan has a humidity and motion sensor so I didn’t really need to add a smart switch. The problem was a night the fan might randomly decide to go on (we get fog and the humidity goes up) and/or someone would go into the bathroom in the middle of the night and then the fan makes noise. So, I wanted to have it on a schedule.
I have the fan now turn on based on a separate humidity measurement (actually I compare the bath humidity to the humidity in the next room where the replacement air comes from). I found it responded faster to a shower that way. Some day I’ll put a motion sensor in the shower.
Now I wish my actual fan was just a dumb on/off fan…
Has anybody thought of using one of those new Zooz switches that were just announced that have an integrated motion detector? I’m curious to see some real life experiences. For some room configurations it might be pretty cool and allow you to eliminate a motion detector.
I thought of it but decided on the FP300 combination presence/motion/humidity/light sensor. I have one sensor in my bathroom that detected presence in the main area, the shower, and the toilet room.
