i would like integrate the sensor power meter kws-302-ws at homeassistant but only appears like switch. How can i do to works normally?
A similar problem with the kws-303-ws device. In the Smart Life and Tuya Smart applications, all data is present, but in the Tuya Developer Platform, only a switch is available. It seems that a specialist is needed who can configure this device first in the Tuya Developer Platform, then Home Assistant will be able to get data from there.
KWS 302-WF is supported by LocalTuya integration. Load LocalTuya from HACS. You will need the deviceID, localkey of your device from Tuya Developer Platform. You also need to know the IP of your device. You can add all the entities (DPIDs) for the device manually after successful integration.
I was able to solve this by linking my Tuya device to my personal Tuya cloud project (under a Tuya free developer account).
am assuming one has already linked their device to the cloud project.
Under devices select the device you want and *change the control instruction mode from standard instruction to DP instruction. (*refer to [Volodymyr16k]'s Tuya developer page image)
then save configuration.
lastly add the device under the Tuya local not the official Tuya (use protocol 3.5 when adding the device) ( Tuya local can be obtained from HACS)
Через Tuya Smart видит только переключатель. А в LocalTuya Не могу добавить.
На этапе добавления все даные

ввожу нажимаю подтвердить но ничего не происходит
please use Tuya local . and not local Tuya as shown in your image .The two integrations are different. Tuya local is much easier to use especially if you select cloud assisted login option. the cloud assisted login uses the user code which you can find in your Tuya mobile app under account and security section. After that process, a Qr code will pop up which you will have to scan with your Tuya mobile app to facilitate authentication .
To install tuya local via HACS please follow this link. Link to HACS: Repository – My Home Assistant. For details ref: GitHub - make-all/tuya-local: Local support for Tuya devices in Home Assistant
Да все верно! .
но далее запрашивает шлюз
Я ничего не указываю и нажимаю кнопку далее. Далее запрашивает полные данные где поключение не происходит
For figure 1 simply click next and also select protocol version 3.5 on the next page.
Here the gateway is the IP of the Tuya device ( kws-302-ws). This you have to find it manually by checking on your router for the IP address that has a Mac address of the device you want to integrate. The Mac address is obtained from the Tuya mobile app under the device information section of your specified device(refer to figure 2 and 3)
I’ve noticed a small problem, if you could confirm it.
I’m using the KOWSI KWS-306WF, but the reading data isn’t updating reliably. Apparently, it only updates the information in HomeAssistance via the local Tuya (3.5) when I open the official Tuya app on my phone. As long as I don’t open the app and check the information visually through it, the system doesn’t update the reading data in HomeAssistance. I’m referring to the basic reading data (voltage, current, temperature, etc.).
Exemple:
after opening the official Tuya app on your mobile phone.
I cannot use Tuya Local, since I have this device on a remote location. Is there a way to get all the entities load to HA through the cloud connection?
