Request for help - refactor of climate custom component

Hi Hass community

I and a couple of other have been using @jamiewalters’s (github tag) component “python-verisure-climate” for our verisure-connected panasonic heat pump. The component have never been included in the hass main line.

And now… with 0.96 the climate component have been refactored… and the custom component does not work anymore.

Is there a friendly soul out there that could help refactor the component? We can test…

May I suggest looking at the changes to the climate integrations within hass itself?

There are also some dev discussions, I’ll post links if I can find them.

Yes, I know it is pretty lame to call out for help like this.
Unfortunatey I do not have the time to figure out how the hass infrastruture works, how to debug, how the custum components are integrated and how the climate component works. I am spending all my spare time studying for an MBA so no time to investigate hass one more year…

I guess the best person to seek help from would be @pvizeli who made the changes to the climate area of HA.
