I have been running Home Assistant for a while now on a Raspberry Pi 4 that boots from an SSD.
I followed some How-To instructions I found a while ago to get this running.
I need help with how to recover my Home Assistant instance if I’m unable to boot this image. I have offline backups that I could use. But I don’t know how I will use them if I need to restore the SSD image.
Please help.
Rebuild, and use that to restore from backup.
Alternatively, image your drive as a form of backup. Possibly larger amount of data to store…

If I were to image the SSD drive, what do you suggest using to create the image?
If you image the ssd you will end up in exactly the same place you are in now.
You just install a fresh instance of HA and then restore from your backup. Its easy, but can take a while.
