If anyone has any input to this, it is much appreciated.
Installed HA on DSM station using docker - installation works great and made a backup of this.
Only later to find that I cannot find any of my files locally in my docker folder, meaning that I cannot access the config.yaml file at all.
I then found that when installing the docker image though terminal instead, all the files then appeared, which is great, only that now it is a new installation.
When starting up the HA and getting prompted to make a new user, there is no option to restore from backup - I then make a new user, added my backup file to the backup folder on DSM so it is showing in the HA UI, but there is no function to restore from backup in the user interface either (also tried advanced mode and there is no tripple button showing on the screen either under “backup”).
Is there any way to restore my old configuration to the new docker image?
I still have the old one running, but I cannot locate the files anywhere on the DSM.
